Sautéed with lobster beurre blanc and two shrimp.
Several fresh fish, portioned in-house. Fish is never fried. A salad and the house sweet potato muffin come with every entrée. The menu changes. Call for tonight's fresh fish. Creole-influenced cooking, roux-based sauces, dressings made in-house.

Reservations are by phone only and are strongly suggested, especially Friday and Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
Owner John Kilgore opened Riverside in June 1999 in a renovated century-old house in Swansboro, with an added upstairs dining room. The restaurant has about 125 seats. Kilgore previously ran Cappers, a well-loved North Hills restaurant in Raleigh.
